Data reports and statistics
NOPSEMA continuously collects and receives data on the safety, well integrity and environmental management performance of the industry, as well as its own regulatory performance. This data is regularly analysed and converted into a series of datasets. These datasets are published both quarterly and annually and contain many familiar key performance indicators such as incident rates, injury rates, hydrocarbon releases and international benchmarks.
Data is accurate at the time of publication, but may be subject to change as new information becomes available. Whilst NOPSEMA endeavours to maintain consistency in the reporting of data, these datasets are subject to continuous improvement and modifications in response to legislative, industry or organisational changes.
