NOPSEMA launches dedicated Community Information section on its website

The National Offshore Petroleum Safety and Environmental Management Authority (NOPSEMA) has launched a dedicated section on its website where the community can find helpful information on the offshore petroleum approval process. 

The new Community Information section is a product of NOPSEMA's ongoing work program to improve environmental consultation practices within the offshore petroleum industry and the transparency of its own decision-making and practices.

The pages published under the new section provide easy access to information on offshore petroleum activities, and advice and support for members of the community looking to be involved in the process, as well as those seeking to improve their engagement with titleholders to achieve better consultation outcomes.

A number of frequently asked questions, information brochures and key contact details for those wishing to engage with NOPSEMA or provide feedback to the regulator are also provided.
